Senne Coomans was born in Belgium. At the age of ten she started her clarinet studies at the Academy of Mol. In 2003 she ended her studies, graduating with first honours – maxima cum laude for piano and clarinet.

In 2008 she obtained her Bachelor Degree for Clarinet at the Royal Flemish Conservatoire (Koninklijk Vlaams Conservatorium) in Antwerp and concluded her studies of Master of Music Soloist - Chamber Music at the Hochschule für Musik & Tanz in Cologne with first honours.


As a soloist and passionate chamber music clarinet player she appeared on stage at festivals in Europe and Asia.

She received valuable musical impulses in this area at the hands of Prof. Roglit Ishay and Prof. Han-An Liu. She got her orchestra experience a.o. with the Casco Phil in Belgium (being a regular with the Casco Phil as from 2008) and plays as a soloist with the Cologne Chamber Philharmonia in Germany, France, Spain and Australia.


From 2011 through 2016 she devoted herself to teaching at the music school at Leichlingen.

In 2012 she founded the international chamber music ensemble ‘Frequenza’ which would last until 2014.


Senne received bursaries from different organisations which allowed her to participate e.g. in the Erasmus Programmes. From 2010 through 2016 she was a member of the Yehudi Menuhin Foundation which aims at introducing classical music in hospitals, homes for the elderly, prisons and nursery schools.


Senne Coomans attended Master classes with a.o. Pascale Moragues, Anthony Spiri, Charles Neidich, Richard Stollzmann, Ralph Manno, Harri Mäki, Martin Spangenberg, Johannes Peitz and Yehuda Gilad.


Next to music she also successfully takes on medical studies at the Catholic University of Leuven (KULeuven) and recently ended a course in Yoga and Qi Gong. In 2016 she became a certified Heilpraktiker, recognized by the German State.

The study of the principles of the healing processes has stirred my mind and has kept me busy for some time now, especially in disciplines such as:

Qi Gong, Yoga, Cranio Sacral Ostheopathy.


As a yoga teacher, influenced by my study of anatomy, practice of contemplation and an understanding of the energetic body,

I focus on a mindful and therapeutic endeavour of the person as a whole.


Of lately I have been devoting myself to Nada Brahma and the effects

of vocal resonance in the human body.


I offer private sessions of Cranio Sacral Therapy

as well as Yoga & Qi Gong workshops, both at home and abroad.


In all my endeavours I am out for helping you to live a holistically healthy,

fulfilling and happy life.
